My name is Janet DeLeo. Once upon a time I was a business teacher. A long, long time ago, I taught things such as "typing" and shorthand. I taught people how to use machines that don't even exist anymore. I taught mostly women who were in programs to develop skills, so that they could go into the marketplace and support themselves and their families. Like most of us, I always wanted to make a difference. The "story behind the story" was that during breaks, the teachers were attempting to figure out how to make more money. As Jim Rohn says, we always had "more month at the end of the money".

As a single parent, I needed to make extra money. All I wanted out of network marketing was an extra $500 a month. I didn't know where I would have the time to pursue it, but the business model made sense. Now, for the rest of the story...

The industry changed my life. I became a professional network marketer because in that very first company, I made more money in one month than I had made the previous year. Entrepreneurship and network marketing got into my DNA; there was no turning back.

Here's the oldest published picture of me that I could find. It's a picture of me "back in the day" in a company magazine. The heading was Teacher Learns To Never Say "Never". Yes, that IS my hair! What can I say? I'm willing it to post it, so I do have a sense of humor!

Since setting that goal, I've been a Regional Vice President, and a guest trainer at corporate events. I've earned trips all over the United States including Hawaii, Monaco, and Tahiti. I've been a "Top Producer" and a "Top Recruiter". I've trained thousands of people both in and out of my organization and in the companies I've worked with.

Anything is possible. I did a thesis on Network Marketing when I got my Masters in Adult Education. I am committed to help network marketing get the respect it deserves. According to the DSA, there are 15 MILLION people in direct sales responsible for $30.8 Million in sales in the US and $112BILLION worldwide!

It is a new "New Economy". More people need more money just to survive. Perhaps network marketing is for you. Perhaps it is not. There are plenty of ways to supplement your income. My coaching is to be open. Perhaps it is time to bust through some old paradigms. Regardless of what you are going to do, my coaching is to spend more time on YOU than on your business or your job.

If you choose to get into network marketing, I guarantee you that you will be exposed to some of the best trainers in the world. They can change your life. The best definition of insanity that I've ever heard is to do the same thing over and over and expect different results.

If you choose not to get into network marketing, there is still plenty on this website that can help you in anything you are doing. When the subject is not network marketing, my favorite things to teach are self-esteem, presentation skills, and sales. Everything is related.
